The book contains artworks, photographs and texts relating to time spent working in Alayrac, a tiny hamlet in the Gaillac region of the Midi Pyrenees. It is an elucidatory visual record of how this environment informs Sutton and Robertson's practice as non-figurative artists.

A special edition of 20 books is published, each with a set of two original watercolours, signed and numbered by Robertson and Sutton. Size 23 x 16cm on Saunders Waterford 425 gms paper.

There are 38 full page actual size reproductions of collaborative works on paper. These works, titled Chamber Music were exhibited at the Austrian Cultural Forum in London in 2008. The book contains a very insightful essay by the great British jazz musician Evan Parker on collaboration and improvisation and the parallels between art and music: he played a live solo at the exhibition opening.
